Robert Kraft: documents say Patriots owner solicited sex on day of AFC title game
- Arrest warrant issued over prostitutions claims
- Court date set for 24 April; Kraft does not need to attend
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, one of the most powerful men in the NFL, has been officially charged with first-degree solicitation of a prostitute. The charge is connected to a recent sting at a massage parlor in Jupiter, Florida.
A “low level” arrest warrant has been issued in Kraft’s name and a court date set for 24 April, although a lawyer will be able to appear in his place. Some of the women involved in the case are believed to have been victims of human trafficking.
